Caliper Accessories
A caliper you already own can usually do more than it's doing right now. These four accessories extend it instead of replacing it: a jaw attachment adds micrometer-anvil-style contacts, an accessory kit swaps in different contact points, a T-Bar depth base steadies depth measurements, and a proximity cable adds wired data output to a compatible electronic caliper.
How to choose
Contact points
Jaw attachment & accessory kit
The caliper jaw attachment clamps onto the jaws to allow standard micrometer anvils for unique contact geometries. The accessory kit instead swaps the contact points themselves, ball, flat, point, and spline, for measuring features a standard flat jaw can't reach cleanly, like a groove or a spline.
Depth measurement
T-Bar depth base
Fits most 6" and 8" calipers to widen and steady the base for depth readings, so the caliper doesn't rock on a narrow edge while measuring how deep a hole or step goes.
Data output
Proximity-USB cable
Adds wired SPC data output to a compatible Fowler electronic caliper that doesn't already have Bluetooth built in. It's the wired equivalent of the Bluetooth-equipped IP67 line, for shops that want the data connection without the wireless component.
Common questions
These are sized and designed for Fowler calipers. Check the fit notes on the T-Bar and jaw attachment pages first if you're using a caliper from a different manufacturer, since jaw dimensions vary between brands.
No. It's built for compatible Fowler electronic calipers that output a proximity signal. Dial and vernier calipers have no electronic output to connect it to.
The jaw attachment clamps onto existing jaws to add micrometer-style anvils for special contact shapes. The accessory kit instead replaces the contact points directly with ball, flat, point, and spline options, covering a wider range of feature types out of the box.
